Every now and then you want something different from your games. After all, it gets boring to be stuck in the same areas for a long time! To keep everyone entertained, Blizzard's WoW cataclysm levelling zones have been updated with brand new content. Here are a few highlights to give you an idea of what to expect.
All the new races are getting their own starting areas. Level one through twelve Worgen can look forward to starting their adventures in the savage and grim city of Gilneas. This city is the perfect starting place for this race as the Worgen curse has swept over all the inhabitants, making the area literally teaming with them!
Goblins also get their own statring areas, but with a twist: both areas are instanced. This means that once a player has leveled up and is ready to leave, they will never be able to come back. Make absolutely sure that you have everything done that you needed to get done before you leave the area or else you will never be able to complete it.
Level one goblins start out in the rough and tumble pirate port on The Isle of Kezan. Once they reach level five, their adventures will take them out into the lush jungles of the surrounding Lost Isles to investigate quests and explore beautiful and unique maps.
If you are a high level player who stopped for awhile, now is a wonderful time to start playing again! There are quite a few new zones made just for players over level eighty.
Players from level eighty to level eighty two get two new adventure locales: Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir. Mount Hyjal is an extended quest in which the players help druids protect the world tree from the armies of Ragnaros and Twilight's Hammer. Meanwhile, Vashj'ir is an underwater adventure filled with bloodthirsty nagas out to enslave all of Neptulon and the player characters as well!
Maxed out players at level eighty five get to enjoy the beautiful island citadel known as Tol Barad and it's challenging player versus player combat arena. The surrounding peninsula is a questing paradise with a new quest every day to keep players on their toes. Be sure to hit the questing and PvP hubs to check out these two new zones!
